Results of the first 2015 Meeting

The election results were Keith Radick, president & Graham Webb III, Vice President and annual show director. Dave Thomas will remain as Treasurer. Lori Andrews volunteered to handle the duties of Librarian. It was decided to delay action regarding filling positions of Secretary and Program Director. Graham accepted the request to handle arranging for the next couple programs.

Outgoing President, Paul Herbeck breathed a massive sigh of relief.

A number of members provided items for show and tell.

Dues were collected from the majority of those present. If you have yet to pay your dues, they are only $15 for the year. Please get them to Dave Thomas.

Happy New Year, Chippers!  It's time to get the new year rolling!

Our next regular meeting is Tuesday January 20 at 6:00 PM at the normal place (Whetstone Community Center - Room A).

DUES ARE DUE.  $15.00/year.  The dues help to pay the clubs $500.00 insurance bill .

ELECTIONS - The time for some new officers is long overdue. The old timers will continue to be active, but we need some new blood to move us on.  Good news!  We have some volunteers!

President - Keith Radick has offered to take over the reigns as president.  He'll need your vote on Tuesday an your help throughout the year.

Vice President - Graham Webb III volunteered to serve as vice president (and show chairman).  You know how much spare time he has. He will definitely need all of our help.

Treasurer - Dave Thomas has agreed to continue as treasurer and provide some continuity.

Secretary - We haven't had a secretary in some time.  Tom Hinds graciously posts on the blog for us and Lora and Joseph post on Facebook.  Would anyone like to act as traditional secretary?

Librarian - We haven't had a librarian in a while either. In fact, some of our newer members may not even realize that the club has a nice selection of carving books that they can borrow. Do we have a librarian in the wings?

Other opportunities - How about a program chairman for the meetings?

The officers will always need your suggestions, help on specific projects and help in general.  Speak up!  "Many hands make light work."

We will see you all on Tuesday.  Be sure to bring your dues, your suggestions, some show-and-tell, and maybe something to carve on as we start the new year.
