Getting Your Carvings to the Chippers Table at the Brukner Show

If you want to have your pieces be part of our exhibit at the Brukner Show on April 11th & 12th make sure you bring them to Open Carving on Tuesday April 7th. That will be the ONLY time I'll be able to collect other carvers' works.  PLEASE consider being part of the exhibit; we want to have a good representation.

Information about the Idea Foundry Meeting

IMPORTANT !!! Tuesday the Columbus Chippers Woodcarvers meeting is at the Columbus Idea Foundry. We have a tour set up with the founder and space will be provided for our meeting. The tour will start at 6:00 pm so don't be late.
After the tour and meeting I have made arrangements with a Micro Brewery (Land Grant) , 40 feet from the idea foundry, for a tour. Tuesday is St Patricic's Day and thought a good beer might be nice after the meeting and learn a little about craftin...g beer. Wear green or get pinched

Don't forget, this month's business meeting will be a tour of the Idea Foundry ( 421  W State St., Columbus, Ohio 43215). We'll post more info before the meeting on March 17th.                   

Featured Carver lined up for the October Trees to Treasures Show

Today at the Miami Valley Carvers Show in Middletown, Bruce Henn agreed to be the Featured Carver at our October 31st Show in Columbus. Bruce is a member of the Caricature Carvers of America and is very well known and liked here in Ohio. We are very pleased that Bruce accepted. More info to come.
